Jannero Pargo is a well known American basketball player whose claim to fame has been his amazing game play as the point guard in NBA Development League, where he played for
Oklahoma City Blue. However, before making it a profession, he had already won accolades for his outstanding performances in college tournaments where he represented Arkansas University and Neosho County CC.

Early Life and Education
Jannero Pargo was born on 22nd October, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois. In the year 1998, he graduated from Paul Robenson High School and went on to join Neosho County Community College that was located in Chanute in Kansas. He nurtured a passion for basketball from a very young age and he got an opportunity to represent his college as well as the University of Arkansas in the year 2002.
When Passion Became Profession
His performances in the college tournaments did not go unnoticed and in 2002, he was roped in to play in NBA. He went on to play for various teams which included Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Toronto Raptors and New Orleans Hornets. However, the “WOW” moment in these games came, when in 2008 he came off the bench and played the basketball star Chris Paul. During these playoffs, he played in 12 matches and scored an average of 10.3 points.
Jannero Pargo finally moved out of NBA in 2008 and was immediately signed on by Dynamo Moscow, a Russian League club, on a contract of one year that accosted to $3.8 million. Later in 2009, he signed a contract with Olympiacos Piraeus which is a club in Greek League.
During the Euroleague, he scored an average of 3.5 points in every game and was finally released from the contract.
After playing in various European League matches, Jannero Pargo came back to the home ground and started playing NBA again. From the year 2009 to 2015, he signed in with various teams and played for them. Some of the important teams for whom he played include Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Hornets, Washington Wizards, Atlanta Hawks and Charlotte Hornets. In fact he is the only basketball player who has played for both New Orleans Hornets and Charlotte Hornets in the same year.
The NBA Development League
When the NBA Development League was conceptualized and came into action in the year 2016, the Oklahoma City Blue acquired Jannero Pargo. However, at the time he was recuperating from an ankle sprain. So, he finally debuted in the NBA development league on March 31st against Rio Grande Valley Vipers, with his team making a win for 122-117.
Jannero Pargo married reality TV star, Malaysia Pargo in 2006. The couple had a baby boy whom they named Jannero Pargo Jr. However, they filed for a divorce in the year 2014.
