Emma Stone was born on November 6, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona to Krista Jean Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone. She has a younger brother named Spencer and lived on the grounds of Camelback Inn Resort from the age of 12 to 15. Emma attended the Sequoya Elementary School and Cocopah Middle School. She was prone to panic attacks as a child and therapy along with theatre helped her cope her anxiety. She appeared for A Christmas Carol, Paper Man and a Zombieland out of which the last one earned commercial success and provided her with praise and acclaim. Her breakthrough was with her performance in a teen comedy Easy A in 2010. This performance earned her MTV Mockup PSD Movie Award for Best Comedic Performance. She also nominated for BAFTA Rising Star Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy. In October 2010, she hosted a single episode of Saturday Night Live.
